Champs and MOC

This page is meant to provide information about the two end of the season swim meets: Suburban Swim Leage Championships (Champs) and Meet of Champions (MOC)

SSL League Championships (Champs)

Champs is the last SSL meet of the year, where all teams gather together to compete against each other during a 3-day meet. This event is like no other swim meet you’ve been to. Not only will you enjoy some incredible swimming and tight races, but the excitement, camaraderie and spirit that the kids and families bring is amazing. The opening ceremony and team parade is so much fun, and every year we come up with an incredible and creative theme.

Attending Champs
This event is open and free to all Sharks swimmers. However, in order to be eligible to swim at Champs, each swimmer
must participate in at least 3 dual meets. Please know that the Time Trials meet at the beginning of the season does not count towards the 3 required dual meets.

Registering for Champs
We do not want anyone to miss this weekend! You must register for to Champs as communicated.

Special Note: If your swimmer is signed up for Champs, but for some reason are no longer able to attend, please be sure to unregister them in advance. Our team pays splash fees for all registered events and will forfeit all splash fees for swimmers who miss the meet.

Meet of Champions (MOC)

All regional swim leagues are invited to bring their teams' fastest swimmers to MOC. It is a very exciting weekend and quite the honor to not only qualify, but also to represent our Sharks team. MOC is generally held within one to two weeks after Champs.

Attending MOC (Eligibility Requirement)
This event is open to all swimmers that meet qualifying times, which are posted
here. Swimmers must have qualifying times for each event they plan to swim. However, eligible swimmers may participate in one bonus event during MOC.

Registering for MOC
Please communicate with the Sharks head coach to determine how to register for MOC.
